RovingFiddlehead KidLit

About me

May 30, 2013

AndreaRamblings, programs and experiments in the world of children’s librarianship with the occasional review. I love the connections and inspiration that come from participating¬†in Flannel Friday and Nonfiction Picture Book Wednesday.

This blog will be a lot quieter since May 2013 when I left libraryland to develop Wild Blue Fig. (Picking back up in 2015 as I’m now working as a substitute librarian at Coralville Public Library.)

I also help organize Iowa Tech Chicks, a community organization that strives to connect and educate women working in and interested in learning technology.

Why rovingfiddlehead? I grew up in New Brunswick, Canada and love to travel. I hear that doesn’t explain the fiddlehead part enough. I don’t play the fiddle. Picking and eating fiddleheads is a spring ritual in New Brunswick.
