Book Giveaway: A Hero’s Guide to Saving the Kingdom

on May 31, 2012

After winning a copy of The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate from Mr. Schu yeterday, it is time to pay forward with a book I recently enjoyed. A Hero’s Guide to Saving the Kingdom by Christopher Healey is a clever and fun take on beleaguered Princes Charming that will appeal to both boys and girls. It’s far from Ivan in tone and subject, but its abundant humour and adventures are perfect for the last day of school (as it is here). It’s a light summer read and, so, this giveaway goes until midnight, June 3 (Summer Reading kickoff day here). Just fill out the form to enter, but I’d love to hear in the comments books you look forward to sharing with children this summer.

The giveaway is closed. Congratulations to winner Jessi M.!

Be sure to check out The One and Only Ivan Book Club event Mr. Schu and Colby Sharp have planned for June 27.
