Flannel Friday Inspiration Post: Charlie the Centipede

June 8, 2012

This week’s flannel story was made by our former intern and inspired by Storytime with Miss Brianna and Yo Gabba Gabba. The complete story can be found in Brianna’s post. Basically Charlie decides he wants a hat and gets a LOT of input about which hat would suit him best. Creating this flannel gave us a lot of great insects we can use in other flannel stories as well.

Hey! Thanks for the shout out! I’m so glad you liked my flannel story. I love Yo Gabba Gabba and I think a lot of their little stories would make great flannel stories! You guys did a great job with yours, I’m sure the kids loved it 🙂

This would be a fun addition to any bug storytime. 🙂
Since I don’t have little ones at home anymore, I haven’t watched Yo Gabba Gabba. Guess I have been missing a good storytime resource. Lol! I’ll have to check out some of their DVDs now.

Thanks for sharing the flannel and the resource idea!
