Flannel Friday: Lovebird Fingerpuppets

on January 13, 2012

For the Mushy Gushy Valentine’s Day roundup, I’ve made some red birds for the old verse, just changing up black birds with lovebirds and giving them (sort of) heart-shaped wings. Yes, I know lovebirds are actually green, but it’s all in the spirit of mush and gush.

Two little lovebirds sitting on a hill
One named Jack, one named Jill
Fly away Jack, fly away Jill
Come back Jack, come back Jill.
Today’s Flannel Friday host is Anna at Future Librarian Superhero.  You can also find past and future roundups at So Tomorrow. For a visual round-up of all postings, check out Flannel Friday on Pinterest.
