I’ve been busy pinning summer reading program ideas and loved the idea of a Pin the Spaceship on the Planet game at BuboBlog. I made Saturn since it’s the snazziest planet and a simple spaceship template. As well as encouraging kids to play with the spaceships before and after storytime, I adapted 4 Little Stars (version by Molly) to use with the spaceships (although I can’t really imagine a spaceship thinking it’s not fun to zip around on its own).
One shot off and then there were three!
Three little rockets with nothing to do.
One shot off, and then there were two!
Two little rockets afraid of the sun.
One little rocket alone is no fun.
adapted from Four Little Stars at PreschoolEducation.com
Feel free to use the spaceship template and its window. The template is also available on Slideshare.

Very colorful rockets! I’m sure the kids loved playing with them. :-)
Quick question: How did you include the template in your post? I am still struggling with the best way to share templates on my blog. Would love to have any suggestions!
Thanks!
I scanned my picture and posted it as a photo with its own link (a choice that appears when uploading images in WordPress, not sure about Blogger). When you click on the photo, it opens up in it’s own webpage for easy printing.
