Another idea from my coworker Karen this week. Raise and lower the spider through the pipe as the lyrics suggest. The “rain” is tinsel. The spider and tinsel are both on a piece of yarn that slides up and down the waterpipe (foil-covered paper towel tube).
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain.
And the itsy bitsy spider climbed up the spout again.

What a great idea! Love this, especially the tinsel rain.
Very creative! Nice since what three-year-old knows what a waterspout is, exactly, anyway? The visual definitely helps!
